Nomad Functional Medicine is a platform where you can find blog articles, research updates, and educational online programs/courses (stay tuned for future updates) related to functional medicine.
It was founded by Dr. Namuun Bat, ND, who is a licensed naturopathic doctor in the state of California and a published researcher.

Dr. Namuun sees patients at the Wella Clinic in Rosevilla, CA. Her clinical areas of focus include gut health, mental health, environmental medicine, immunity, metabolic health, and women's health.

Dr. Namuun received her doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and has 10 years of clinical research experience in the field of complementary and integrative medicine (CIM).

As a clinician, Dr. Namuun’s goal is to investigate and find the root cause of her patient’s condition and to offer a personalized treatment plan that is backed up by evidence-based research.

She believes in 1) the vis medicatrix naturae, the healing power of nature or the innate intelligence of the body to restore and heal itself if given the right conditions, and 2) the idea that mother earth has provided us mankind with all the medicine that we need through food and herbs, and therefore, bases her medical approach on these philosophies.

During her spare time, Dr. Namuun loves to spend time with her 2 kids, cook, do photography, and explore the outside nature.
